How about baseball!

Now, I'm not usually one for sports-themed fabrics, but this collection, designed by The New England Quilt Museum for Marcus Fabrics, is very abstract. Called American Pastimes, the collection evokes the romantic, American baseball tradition with wonderfully traditional reds, blues and off-whites without glaring logos and promotions. I could easily see a non-baseball themed quilt done with these fabrics as well as using it for a tastefully-done baseball quilt or theme room (think boys!) Also, with the wonderful star patterns, think 4th of July projects! Wow, makes me wish I had a front porch with a wicker rocker... sipping iced tea... watching the parade...
